Let’s examine the facts shall we?

How can any rational thinking person accept the leaving of “secret and damaging documents at CTV headquarters (coincidence?), for a period of ten days without realizing she had not receipt of them, as missing, or incredibly not making any attempt to recover them?

Answer: They cannot!

Less than two days later we are asked to believe that the same Jasmine MacDonnell “accidentally” left audiotape in a washroom, which recorded personal and damaging ministerial conversations concerning medical isotopes . Then after her being notified of their discovery months in advance of there release, and she did nothing to recover them leaving the five-hour audiotape to be conveniently obtained by the Halifax Herald-Chronicle.

Jasmine it is noted just so happens to the daughter of Ralston MacDonnell, a major benefactor and fundraiser for Michael Ignetieff’s campaign for as Prime Minister in the next election.
This has all the earmarks of political reprisal for the alleged set up of Ruby Dhalla, prominent liberal star critic for youth and multiculturalism, in the "Nannygate" affair before the courts presently.

Can we really be so naïve as to not equate that this is the work of this a liberal mole that has inexplicably infiltrated the CPC?

Why would Jasmine MacDonnell try and stop the release of the tapes if there is nothing further in their content to damage her reputation, and then the broader question becomes who hired the lawyers to do so in the first place?

This is more likely a failed attempt at a coup from inside the Conservative party. How did this backstabbing double-agent get the chance to have wormed her way into the position of a trusted cabinet aid?

Last week they were a coalition who wanted to foist Stephane Dion upon all Canadians as defacto Prime Minister, should Harper have failed to convince the Governor General to prorogue Parliament. Jean Chrétien the modern day father of the voter funding formula must be tickled at rearing his ugly head again, to orchestrate the desperate attempt to seize power like some left wing guerilla republic, third-world coup in a three-way coalition with the communists and the separatists.

A large question looms over how this power grab will be received, much less whether it will be tolerated as acceptable in western Canada. The stimulus that has lacked the galvanizing unrest and outrage in the west may now become all too evident, and ripe for major dissension if this insanity were to become reality.

If the measures proposed weren't about the slashing of Government subsidies to all political parties in an attempt to show a good example at a time of restraint, then the only alternative left is deficit financing of the budget. Something all conservatives are loath to do as we want rid of debt, not increase the size of it.

Why then does the opposition not lead by example and sacrifice the thirty million in savings in the common good of the nation to sustain measures to keep us from sliding a further into recession? The Government and its bureaucrats were willing, why not the opposition?

The liberals want unfair advantage just to compete as a political entity, and are willing to throw in their lot with the extreme left, (those who would bankrupt the nation) and those who are sworn to destroy the country, to usurp the recently and duly elected government of the people, to keep their subsidy of entitlement in an economic crisis that begs common sense.

The populist’s demand cried out for fairness in the French / English debates as poor little beleaguer Lizzy was being discriminated against, even though she did not have a legitimate seat in government, and after all she was just a women in an old boys network.

We knew then why it was Dion was spitting fury when Layton and Harper both refused to participate in the debates if Lizzy May was allowed to attend, under the principal it was fundamentality unfair to have two parties aligned to the same objective to participate in the same debates.

Now you have the treacherous evidence why their reasoning was smack on the mark, why the back room collusion made between Dion and May are nothing but a sham, to further the underhanded liberal’s bid to undermine the elections with their usual unethical, and duplicitous penchant, cheat to win under any circumstance. We’ve all seen this act before, as was the case in the Sponsorship scandal.

The PM’s consistent reassurances to all Canadians that our financial situation is in no way similar to the Americans or Europe, that our banks are sound and in no way in need of bailouts thanks to the strategic management of the Tories, has fallen on deaf ears quickened by the fears fanned by opposition parties, desperate to paint Harper as a do nothing “laissez-faire” leader who’s motto is “don’t worry…be happy”.

The Taliban prophesized that when Canadians see their soldiers coming back in body-bags they would not have the resolve to finish what they had began. They wanted to lower our official flag on the Peace Tower for each and every soldier fallen against the wishes our own military, in full view of the Parliament buildings cam that can be seen anywhere in the world on the internet.
Last time I checked these guys don't wear a uniform distinguishable on a battlefield. They are not waging a conventional war as did those who the Geneva Convention was devised to protect.

So why should we extend them the rights afforded to the conventional soldier?

Last Sunday kicked-off the nouveau-politico platitudes of media homage to mark the twenty-fifth year of the newest sacred cow of the socialist left, “The Charter of Rights and Freedoms”.
Excuse me while I bow and scrape, prostrating myself in humility before the sacrosanct graven image of “The Charter”. Let none be blasphemous enough to question the authority of its origin, it’s all encompassing values of the multi-culturalist inclusiveness.
The champion of human rights, the beleaguered and down-trodden, the host of victims made criminals by mean-spirited, the real perpetrator of evil, you and me.

How did we manage to struggle through 115 years of the British North America Act as our only means to govern the affairs of our dominion? We did it with simple easy and the calm and assurance that justice was served in the nation and for that length of time the disquiet of but a few dissenters were heard.
Those who knew that the surreptitious incremental change of “the quiet revolution” was slowly but steadily gaining momentum, shaping our destiny and regardless of intention of design, not for the long term good of our nation.

This Charter was drafted by Jean Cretien then Minister of Justice in the court of Pierre Elliot Trudeau at the time of its infancy.

The Black Widow

Is anyone really shocked by the sudden departure of the black widow that turned chameleon, of Canadian politics?

She whom many have claimed was supposed to have been the catalyst in uniting the right, but more likely entertained designs of the usury of Steven Harper and Peter McKay, to furnish the perceived vessel, and though her father’s money and influence she sought to become leader of.

Arriving on the scene as the media darling “a breath of fresh air” amongst the fetid stench of the sleazy liberal politics, she was touted as the long overdue breakthrough for women in politics.

It wasn’t long before she was throwing lavish parties with the who’s who of the Tory world serving up blue color martinis and smoozing her way into any riding associations
she though she could seduce along the way to the leadership bid.

Coming off as wooden and having limited or rehearsed responses to questions, and severely disadvantaged by her lack ability to communicate in French, she fell to the polish and professional leadership qualities of a discernable PM in waiting.

Not having the grace or dignity to support her leader she continued to presume upon Steven Harper’s patience until she was called to Stornoway, in which there ensued a terrible row where it was alleged she was ultimately told she would “never be leader of the CPC.”

Not long afterward the rancorous harpy bared her vicious teeth before two key confidence votes on its 2005 budget were due to be decided by Parliament, sinking her steely claws into Harper’s back and crossing the floor to take a ministerial portfolio in Paul Martin’s government, and saved it’s teetering topple into the abyss of a spring election in 2005.

Too add fuel to her depraved lust to burn Harper to the ground she was reported to have been dancing, inebriated on the speakers into the wee hours on Sussex Street, where the Party was holding a victory bash in honor of what would become the Government’s seven month stay of execution.

With the advent of Stephane Dion the new leader of the LPC and the likelihood of loosing the next election and further years of opposition it was obvious she was no longer willing to pay her dues the hard way and work her way to the top.

Her introduction as neophyte into the cynical syndrome of Canadian politics was a painful learning experience, but one thing remains abundantly clear and that is she had no such intentions to “serve the public” or her constituents of Newmarket-Aurora.

Her real intentions were in the end one and the same as what they were in the beginning, nothing more than shameless, crass, self-serving ambition.

What’s with Danny Williams, does he think he runs Ottawa by the outrage of his proxy?

Up until the 2004 general election and Steven Harper’s newly minted proposal that Newfoundland be allowed to keep the lion’s share of proceeds of her non-renewable resources, the Liberals were quite happy to take all her money into the federal coffers for the unforeseeable future but for the PM’s generous offer.

It was the footsteps of Paul Marten that could be heard racing to the deal to anti-up the pot. Then in typical fashion the liberals were the ones who reneged on the deal. Williams then bellyached until he literally shamed martin into compliance.

I don’t remember the Harper pledging any such deal in the 2006 election probably for the fact that Atlantic Canada has been the kept women of the Liberal Party of Canada since 1867 and doesn’t plan on changing her ways any time soon.

The hard reality of governing such a diverse Country with so highly regionalized interests is there is only one pot, and one must have priorities when doling out the goods on budget day. The PM said he would deal with the fiscal imbalance created by Martin under the Chrétien liberals and he did so.

Danny Williams got Newfoundland’s fair share of the Federal transfer payments based on the current formula of what she gives into, and what she get out of Confederation in return.

Problem is Danny Williams wants his cake and eat it too.

We were definitely on the same page on this one ever sense the Opposition has made a national outrage, the fact that concerns that the Taliban’s human rights as a prisoner of war supersede concerns that of our own Armed Forces to win the hearts and minds of the Afghan people.

Why the manufacture outrage over a barbarian hoard who punish women with a savage beating for the inadvertently clicking of their heels on the street? Where women would be beheaded for leaving their dwellings without the company of a man. Where girls are denied to benefit of an education.

How is it we are so sanctimoniously smug to think that Taliban human rights should take precedent over the rights of those they have mercilessly beaten, repeatedly raped, and murdered, over the human rights of their own victims?

Since when is it our divine right to tell them how to met out justice to their own as they have done so since biblical times, and will continue to do so where we do not hear of it nor imagine they do torture to?

As for cries for Gordon O'Connor to step down as Defense Minister, they are at best laughable unless they can provide evidence to the effect that he set out to deliberately to mislead parliament into thinking the Red Cross would report any prisoner abuses to Canada, was not just a humiliating oversight on his part. He has already provided a graceful and contrite apology to parliament for his misspeaking himself on this subject, what more do they want...a pound of flesh?

If he spends 520 million at creating a made-in-Canada solution to the Yuppy environmental abuses and neglect of the last thirty years, he is denounced as merely repackaging environmental projects previously proposed as being Liberal ideas dropped by the Tories from their last federal budget. The other popular attack is that he is blatantly electioneering his own governments defeat, dolling out goodies to the provinces and territories equally as he said he would do in addressing the fiscal imbalance, created by the Chrétien/Martin liberals in the first place.

The Grits are mad as wet hens at the thought of Harper shinning at the credit for spending their ill begotten “slush funds” they worked to hard to hide and attempted to keep at arms length of the Auditor-General’s scrutiny.
No, better it be funneled back into liberal coffers be used to re-elect the naturally governing party, in the next general election or find it’s way to liberal friendly ad agencies and grit ground supporters, rather than back to those to whom it was stolen from in the first place, the Canadian tax-payer.

Yesteday in question period we saw the usual obstructionist tactics of the liberals, in that Stephane Dion was forced to quell a growing revote in liberal caucus in their breaking ranks over the extension of the five-year sunset terrorist provisions insisted on by Wayne Easter and Irwin Cotler in the first place post 9/11.

Why did Dion have to discipline his caucus with a three-line whip, as well as threaten any liberal MP who’d be foolish enough to resist voting the party line would not have his reelection papers signed by the leader?

Why the intransigent resistance to the previously unused tools for dealing with an immanent reality of a future terrorist threat?
What do the liberals have to loose by reinstating the clauses for even nine more months as high level communiqués from the conservative compromise have indicated, concerning the reopening of the Air India Bombings that the liberals 22 years of never-ending fumbling and blundering some 22 years ago? An investigation still in progress by the RCMP

What is in a poll anyway? All that is conclusive is that one poll yesterday showing a certain set of voter tendencies is contradicted by a different pollster a couple of days later, and the result so conversely divergent that that all that can be ascertained is they cancel each other out.

Polls can be skewed to misrepresent the facts by the way the question is posed and the consensus wished to be formed. If we wish to achieve a certain poll percentage result, then it is only a matter of getting those polled to respond to a measured probability of hypothetical behavior.

Now the great and wizened spin Dr.’s are telling us that the polls are indicating the so called “attack ads” are not causing the Tories numbers to rise, but conversely those who have become disenchanted with the true facts about Dion's pitiful record on the environment, are going to the NPD and the Green Party or at least they would like to spin it to that fashion.

How is it they are conservative attacks if the ads are excerpts from the recent liberal leadership hopefuls, who are denouncing their own leader on his past record?
